There are three volumes of these documents covering the above period. They appear to have been monthly returns, not all surviving for the period in this volume. These are straightforward and handy in various ways. For instance, as well as stating the type, or status of vessels and rig in the case of sailing vessels (something that can be frustrating all the way through with these organisations), they also show where vessels were stationed. In effect these are value added disposition lists.
